We have recently started framing something altogether more unusual, we are calling it “Games in a Frame”. We take your favourite classic retro games and frame them to preserve and parade pure nostalgia.

GamesInAFrame provides framed retro games including #SNES #commodore64 #zxspectrum #atari #segamegadrive #gameboy. We are happy to frame any game that you might have hiding away in the back of a drawer; it would make a great present for the retro gamer.

Also on the more unusual front we have recently completed this Avengers Infinity War Odeon posters by @Cakes_Comics

Please check the website for more details if interested, I have a very small quantity of this particular set so first come first served. I can also frame your copies with the colour mount & frame of your choice.

Holiday memories

Sending postcards  while away on holiday seems to be a dying art, but of course there are plenty of lovely postcards of our favourite holiday sites available for sale in all the top destinations, some of which are almost works of art in their own right. Why not have them framed on your return? We offer a bespoke framing service and can match the mount and frame to suit your requirements. Here below are a few examples of this  idea, postcards from Venice and the Carribean

The same applies to pictures of holidays, whether they are original watercolours or a collection of happy family photos, all can be transformed with a mount and a frame and hung on your wall to remind you of happy holidays.

Amalfi coast

In fact we can frame anything ( within reason) , how about memories from a “gap year”or exotic travel adventure – maps, tickets, photos – these can all be composed into an attractive arrangement and framed. ( much better than being stuffed into a drawer or a box and left to gather dust)

Gap Year

Of course we also have an extensive collection of old maps from 1800’s featuring the countries of the world, the counties of England and some of the major cities of the UK, not only are these great momentos of where we have been, but they also make great gifts.

We have recently framed a couple of interactive maps that customers wish to be accessible and to which they can add their destinations past and future.

So if you have anything you would like framed and preserved for the future, do get in touch, we would be only to happy to help

Under New Ownership

With effect from 1st Feb Hang Around will be under new ownership.

After nearly 25years Annabel has decided to pass on her Morso and mount cutter to Jo who has worked for her behind the scenes in the workshop for over 7 years. Jo is taking on the whole business –  website, framing and the shop space at Great Grooms Antique Centre in Hungerford- and will be based in her newly converted garage/workshop in Wherwell, Hampshire.

Katherine will be continuing with Hang Around too; having worked with Annabel for 12years, she will be able to use her experience to help Jo and between them ensure a smooth transition and the continuation of the high standards in framing and customer service we hope you have come to expect from Hang Around.

While the equipment is set up and Jo is sorting out the stock in her new workshop, there may be a slight delay in attending to emails and internet orders, so please bear with us. We will do our utmost to accommodate you  and will look forward to welcoming you to the new “HangAround” when it is relaunched in the next few weeks.
